Tours of the House

A tour of the House comprises the Royal Apartments, used primarily for the Queens Speech, the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Tours take roughly one hour and take in both the mediaeval Westminster Hall and the 19th century chambers.

Tours can be booked for the following times:

Mondays 09.00-12.00

Tuesday 09.00-12.00

Wednesdays 09.00-09.20

Fridays 15.00-17.00

Tours of the Clock Tower

Constituents can also book a tour of the famous Clock Tower, where you will learn about its construction, view the clock mechanism, walk behind the clock face and climb the 334 steps to the top in time to see and hear Big Ben strike its familiar tone.

Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance and are subject to security checks.
